It is our aim to share the information on SyndicateMizzou as widely as possible, in order to serve the educational needs of our diverse audience. Requests for re-using or repurposing SyndicateMizzou’s content will be permitted only under the following conditions:

• Via electronic link:

  In accordance with universal web protocols, persons are free to link to any of SyndicateMizzou’s features without obtaining permission. Disseminating information about MU’s exciting research and creative activity is our primary goal.

• Via conversion to text:

  Syndicate Mizzou seeks to utilize the vast potential of web-based learning and, as such, does not automatically license converting, re-using, or repurposing its intellectual property into the print medium. The Center for eResearch must approve in advance any quotation or reprint beyond that allowed by fair use conventions. We must receive requests for reprinting at least one week in advance of any printing or publication deadlines. Requests should be sent to eresearch@missouri.edu and must indicate the precise text or content desired for re-using/repurposing, the format in which it will be used, and for what purpose.

Any repurposing of SyndicateMizzou materials—whether electronic or textual—must use proper citation, including: the author’s name, the feature’s title, the source (SyndicateMizzou), and the URL for the feature. Whenever possible, we seek to direct people to the site and the multimedia experience it provides.
