Women in the Water
From an interview with Tina Bloom, Assistant Professor, School of NursingBloom’s background is in nursing, and she has been interested in women’s health from the start. “I always kind of circle back to that in terms of what I’m interested in and what I’m passionate about,” she explains. While conducting nursing research in Oregon, she realized she could help more people if she went back to school. At a certain point, Bloom began to wonder about what was happening upstream and why people were falling into the water in the first place.
